A Home For Indie Tabletop Game Designers, Artists and Enthusiasts!Hey there! I'm Jefry, the creator of Trovve! I'm a software engineer by trade, a loving husband to my amazing wife and a proud father to my one year old twins.I have loved gaming all my life. Growing up in the Bronx, New York, my childhood highlights involved playing JRPG's, crashing Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering games in neighborhood game stores and playing tournaments with my older brother.
Confession: I still play Yu-Gi-Oh! after putting my kids down for the night!
My love for games also extends to board games and in the past few years I have started designing my own board games. Although I am a software engineer I've never been great at navigating online communities/social media platforms. When I started my design journey, I turned to existing online communities like BoardGameGeek, Board game subreddits, and Discord channels for resources and to learn from fellow designers.These platforms were incredibly helpful, offering a wealth of information. However, I often felt a bit underwhelmed by their disjointed nature and sometimes outdated user interfaces.It was also challenging to truly connect with other users, visualize their full design journeys, or easily understand their game development paths.
And that is where the idea for Trovve sparked!

My professional life revolves around building software, but my true joy comes from channeling those skills into passion projects. And Trovve is my favorite one yet. I wanted to build something different. A platform with an easy, clean, and lighthearted interface specifically for indie game designers. Whether you're a full-timer, an exploring newbie like me or just dabbling in the space. Trovve is for you! I also wanted it to be a welcoming space for enthusiasts and give them a behind the scenes glimpse into the design process and get access to new and cutting edge games.
My vision for Trovve isn't for it to be just another tool; it's a platform designed to put a spotlight on YOU, the creator.
